Our History

Ventus Green Energy Limited was formed in October 2008 by Co-Directors Jim Paterson and Stephen Hamilton as a distributor of  wind turbines predominantly to the agricultural industry. It soon became apparent that there was a huge demand for wind turbines and other renewable technologies to a much wider range of markets such as businesses, schools and households.

The natural route was to therefore, expand the product range to include Solar PV, Solar Thermal and multifuel stoves. The product range is constantly under review and may well be added to in the near future as Ventus Green Energy seeks out the latest developments in the renewable energy sector.

Accreditations & Memberships

Microgeneration Certification Scheme, which is designed to evaluate products and installers against robust criteria for microgeneration technologies, providing greater protection for consumers and ensuring that the Government's (i.e. taxpayers) grant money is spent in an effective manner. Grants will be available to applicants using both products and installers certified under this scheme.

ISO 9001 - is the principal internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems. A certified company needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
